President of hungary: „the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine are unquestionable.”

During the Third Summit of the Crimea Platform, Katalin Novák, the President of Hungary, assured that Hungarians condemned the armed invasion and that Ukraine has its place in Europe.

“The war began in Crimea, and it must end with the liberation of Crimea as well,”

the President said.

“Since last February almost 2 million people fled to Hungary from Ukraine, and Hungary has been carrying out one of the most significant humanitarian actions in modern history”, – Ms. Novák stressed. She also said that Hungary has covered the transportation costs of 10,000 tons of grain from Ukraine.

Apart from that, the President of Hungary addressed the issue of protection of the rights of children: “At the times of war, children cannot be under the losing sight, children cannot be taken by force from their families. Let us stand up together against all the violations of the children’s rights, and let us raise attention to each and every case. The war cannot ruin the future of our children”.
